The Canadian Independent Booksellers Association (CIBA) recognizes the importance of keeping personal data private. We encourage you to play your part in keeping your data safe by making a wise password choice.

Collection, use and disclosure of personal information

The data that CIBA collects is intended to inform our activities in serving the membership and to provide information to the public that serves the members. The membership portal provides tools that allow you to choose what data you choose to share with whom: no sharing, sharing with members only, sharing with the public.

GIVING CONSENT FOR OTHERS

If you are the bundle administrator for your membership account, be mindful that additional registrants should be informed that they assume responsibility for access security of their CIBA account and what data they choose to share with whom.

CIBA will not share personal data with third parties without consent.
