Introducing the Shop Local API, powered by Bookmanager

Publishers, start your engines! Here’s another way to bolster the indie bookselling community! With support for localism on the rise, there has never been a better time to play a role in connecting customers to bookstores in their communities. The new Shop Local API lets you insert a button or link on your site that connects visitors to independent bookstores nearby and can list the stock they have of your product.

In the lead up to Canadian Independent Bookstore Day, we’re asking publishers and everyone who promotes books to add Shop Local to their websites, providing readers with the option to buy from an indie bookstore. Bookmanager is offering this API free of charge because they want to encourage everyone to participate.
