Many of us used Zoom to stay connected to our community for the first time during the pandemic. Gain confidence in this new arena with this two-part series on how to host successful online events; designed for those looking to pick up new tips to improve audience experience and those who need to review the basics of how to host your own author events.
Much of the work that goes into creating a successful virtual event happens in the days and week leading up to the big night. In our first session, you’ll learn the steps you should take to ensure things run smoothly.
During this educational session you’ll learn how to:
· Gain insight into your audience by utilizing the registration module
· Master the behind-the-scenes technical settings and workflow needed to host a secure event
· Leverage Zoom technology (tips and tricks!) to create professional events
· Mitigate risk with a technical rehearsal and identify your weak spots
Attendees will be provided with a take-home resource package following the event.
Event registration is open to CIBA Bookseller Members, Affiliates and Associates first. If we have space available closer to the date, we will open spaces to non-members at a fee.
