HOW TO ENTER |
Every book purchased from a Canadian independent bookstore on April 29 is worth one entry. Books written and/or illustrated by Canadian creators will be worth double. Books can be purchased in-store, online, or by phone. Proof of purchase is required. 2. Fill out the contest form The link to our entry form will be found on this page between midnight on April 29 and 11:59pm PT on April 30. You will be required to specify how many books you purchased and how many of those were by Canadian authors/illustrators. You will also be asked to upload your proof of purchase and certify that you understand the terms and conditions. 3. Hope you win! On May 1, CIBA staff will randomly select three winners, beginning with the third prize and ascending to the first. CIBA will contact prospective winners via the information provided at the time of entry with next steps. |

No purchase necessary. Contest runs April 29, 2023 at 12:00:00 am AT to April 30, 2023 at 11:59:59 pm PT. Open to residents of Canada who are the legal age of majority. Three (3) prizes consisting of gift certificates to Canadian independent bookstores ranging in retail value up to one thousand dollars ($1,000); One (1) winner per prize. Mathematical skill-testing question required.
